| Fix registration error | Quality | In development | Bug, very high priority |

It's for product and engineering teams that still track work in a spreadsheet, in loose messages or on a board nobody updates. It suits a small software house, a company's tech team or a developer who serves clients and needs to separate what's new from what's a fix.
It doesn't impose a method. The flow fits Scrum, Kanban or a mix of the two, and you decide the ritual.
When you create your account and choose the Software development template, Tasskee sets up the project with these statuses, in this order:
The project has two workstreams, Product and Quality, and a sprint already created, with the sample tasks assigned to it. The five tasks in the table above show the types the template uses: a story (implement the home screen), a very high priority bug (fix signup error) and regular tasks, such as writing tests and releasing the first version.
The In approval column starts out empty, and that's normal: no sample task starts there.
The sample tasks are there so you can see the board working. Delete them or edit them for your real work. The adjustments that usually make sense, which are suggestions here, not rules:
A software team's work benefits from four views of the same task: the Kanban board for the day to day, sprint planning for the cycle, the Gantt chart when there's a delivery date for a client, and the calendar for deadlines. To understand how a sprint works, read the backlog and sprint template.
With automations you can move a task or send a notice when it stalls in Review. If you want your own AI agent to operate the project, you can use the AI assistant and the MCP server, on the Pro plan, with your provider's key.
If your company sells development to clients, also see the page for software houses, which shows how to combine projects, time tracking and customer service.
The template is chosen at signup, when you create your account: in the onboarding step, choose the Software development template and the project appears already set up. You can try it for 15 days with the Pro plan unlocked, no card required.
