| Task | Workstream | Initial status | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Draft the executive project | Project | In execution | Task, high priority |

| Run sample step | Construction | Backlog | Task, normal priority |
| Inspect delivery | Construction | Inspection | Task, low priority |
It's for engineering firms, small construction companies, technical project teams and professionals who run construction jobs and renovations. The work has two sides that blend together: the design, in the office, and the execution, on the job site. When the two live in different places (a drawing here, a list on WhatsApp there), the job finds out about problems late.
The template puts design and construction on the same board, with an inspection stage before the work is considered done.
When you create your account and choose the Engineering template, Tasskee creates the project with five statuses, in this order:
The two workstreams are Design and Construction. The table above shows the four sample tasks: draw up the executive design, survey materials and costs, carry out a sample stage and inspect the delivery. Two are in the Design workstream and two are in Construction. The template doesn't create a sprint.
Suggestions for adapting it:
To divide a construction job into parts before you start, the WBS template helps you build the structure, and the construction schedule template offers an example of sequencing.
The Gantt chart shows dependencies, milestones and the critical path, which matters on a job where one stage can only start when another ends. The Kanban board serves day-to-day management, and time tracking measures the technical team's time per project. Gantt is part of the Pro plan.
Tasskee is not construction ERP: it doesn't do detailed budgeting, progress measurement or a site diary. It organizes tasks, due dates, assignees and the schedule. The template's "survey materials and costs" task is a tracking task, not a budget spreadsheet. For more context, see the page for engineering and construction.
The template is chosen at signup, when you create your account: in the onboarding step, choose the Engineering template and the project appears already set up. The trial lasts 15 days with Pro unlocked, no card required.
