| Task | Workstream | Initial status | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prepare the quarterly budget | Planning | In progress | Task, high priority |
| Track accounts payable | Financial routine | To do | Task, normal priority |
| Track accounts receivable | Financial routine | To do | Task, normal priority |
| Review cash flow | Planning | Review | Task, low priority |
It's for the finance department of small and midsize companies, for the admin person who also handles the cash, and for financial consultants. The routine is made of due dates: accounts payable, accounts receivable, quarter close, cash flow review. The cost of forgetting one is direct, in interest, fines or a client who wasn't billed.
The template turns that routine into tasks with an owner and a due date that everyone in the area can see.
When you create your account and choose the Finance template, Tasskee creates the project with five statuses, in this order:
The two workstreams are Planning and Financial routine. The table above lists the four sample tasks: build the quarterly budget, track accounts payable, track accounts receivable and review the cash flow. Two are in Planning and two are in Financial routine. The template doesn't create a sprint.
Suggestions for adapting it:
The calendar shows the month's due dates, and automations send a notice before the due date and when a task stalls; they're available on all plans, with a monthly execution limit. To tie finance to objectives, goals and OKRs, on the Pro plan, track results such as delinquency or average collection time, and reports show the team's workload.
If your question is how to bill clients by the hour worked, see time tracking and the project timesheet spreadsheet template. The Kanban board works as an overview of the week.
An important limit: Tasskee is not a financial system. It doesn't track balances, reconcile statements or issue invoices (notas fiscais). It organizes the work of the people who do.
The template is chosen at signup, when you create your account: in the onboarding step, choose the Finance template and the project appears already set up. The trial lasts 15 days with Pro unlocked, no card required.
