| Task | Workstream | Initial status | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Create a visual identity | Brand | In creation | Task, high priority |
| Design social media assets | Campaigns | Briefing | Task, normal priority |
| Get client approval on the artwork | Campaigns | Review | Task, normal priority |
| Deliver final files | Brand | Briefing | Task, low priority |
It's for studios, designers, agencies and in-house creative teams that live the same cycle: they receive a brief, create, send it for review and wait for the client's "okay." The bottleneck is almost never the creating, but the back-and-forth of versions over email and messages, with no way to tell which file is the final one.
The template puts each piece in a column that says where it stands.
When you create your account and choose the Creative and design template, Tasskee creates the project with five statuses, in this order:
The two workstreams are Brand and Campaigns. The four sample tasks, in the table above, are create the visual identity, design social media pieces, get the artwork approved by the client and deliver the final files. Note that "Get artwork approved by the client" starts in Review: the Approval column starts out empty, waiting for the pieces you send to the client. The template doesn't create a sprint.
Suggestions for making the board your own:
The client portal lets the client follow the project, comment and approve without taking up a user seat, which shortens the slowest step of the flow. To record the initial request, use the project brief template. The Kanban board shows everything at a glance and time tracking lets you bill by the hour of creative work or check whether the fixed scope was right.
For the day-to-day of a studio or agency, also see the page for marketing agencies, and the weekly status report template to keep the client informed without an extra meeting.
Write in the brief what counts as delivered: formats, resolutions and where the final files are stored. When the card reaches Delivered, anyone on the team finds the right version without asking, and the client receives everything at once.
The template is chosen at signup, when you create your account: in the onboarding step, choose the Creative and design template and the project appears already set up. The trial lasts 15 days with Pro unlocked, no card required.
