| Task | Workstream | Initial status | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Follow up with sample lead | Prospecting | In contact | Task, high priority |
| Add new leads | Prospecting | Leads | Task, normal priority |
| Send commercial proposal | Negotiation | In contact | Task, normal priority |
| Record closed sale | Negotiation | Closed | Task, low priority |
It's for small sales teams, independent salespeople and business owners who sell and still track leads from memory, on WhatsApp or in a spreadsheet. The goal isn't to be a full CRM, but a lightweight board-based funnel where you can see who needs contact today.
If your operation already has hundreds of leads a week, use the template as a complement to a CRM, not a replacement.
When you create your account and choose the Sales template, Tasskee creates the project with four statuses, in this order:
The two workstreams are Prospecting and Negotiation. The four sample tasks, in the table above, are follow up with a sample lead, add new leads, send a sales proposal and record a closed sale. The proposal task starts in In contact, and the closed sale task is born already in Closed, so you can see a completed task. The Proposal column starts out empty. The template doesn't create a sprint.
A few suggestions for adapting it:
The Kanban board is the funnel's main screen. Automations alert the salesperson when a lead stalls, and forms, on the Pro plan, receive contact requests through a public link and create the task automatically. To track the team's results, use goals (for example, a goal for proposals sent in the month) and reports.
After the sale closes, the new client can go into a client onboarding project, and the weekly status report template helps keep management informed.
Define how long a card can sit in each column. If a lead spends more than a week in In contact without progress, it either gets a new contact date or leaves the funnel. That rule keeps the board truthful and shows the real closing forecast.
The template is chosen at signup, when you create your account: in the onboarding step, choose the Sales template and the project appears already set up. The trial lasts 15 days with Pro unlocked, no card required.
