ClickUp became famous for promising "one app to replace them all". For many teams, that promise becomes the problem: there are so many options, views and settings that the tool demands a dedicated administrator, and the team goes back to the spreadsheet by the third month.
This page shows, using what can be verified (published pricing and feature by feature), what your team gains by switching from ClickUp to Tasskee.
Why switch from ClickUp to Tasskee
When the team needs to use it on day one
Tasskee comes ready out of the box. At signup you choose your field (development, engineering, marketing, accounting, support and others) and the first project already comes with statuses, workstreams and sample tasks. What the team doesn't use doesn't show up on screen. List, Kanban board, calendar, Gantt schedule and burndown are five views of the same task: switching views doesn't require rework.
When the client talks to you after delivery
This is the most structural difference. Project tools stop where the client begins. In Tasskee, tickets have their own queue, SLA deadlines and a public intake form, in the same project as the client. And WhatsApp customer service, with an AI agent, turns a conversation into a ticket or task with one click, and the reply goes back through the same number.
In ClickUp, you can adapt lists and forms to receive requests, but there's no customer service center with SLAs and no WhatsApp channel inside the tool.
When the bill is paid in reais
ClickUp bills in dollars, on a credit card. That means exchange-rate swings every month and IOF (Brazil's tax on foreign transactions) on the statement. Tasskee bills in reais, and on the Max plan accepts boleto or Pix with an invoice (nota fiscal), which usually makes finance's life simpler.
When the company sells hours
Agencies, consultancies and software houses live off hours worked. ClickUp has time tracking. Tasskee goes beyond logging: in Hours you set the hourly rate by project and task type, generate the closing statement of what to bill each client and the statement for those paid by the hour, with the project's margin for the month.
When AI can't become one more bill
In ClickUp, AI is a paid add-on per user. In Tasskee, AI uses your own provider's key (OpenAI, Gemini or Claude) and usage is paid directly to them, at list price, with no credit packages and no margin on our side.
When the tool needs to grow with you
Tasskee is Brazilian, and the people who provide support are the same team that builds it. Need a feature that doesn't exist yet? The request goes straight to whoever decides what goes into the product, with no international support queue. And to connect Tasskee to the company's other systems, there's a REST API, webhooks and an MCP server, which lets the AI you already use operate projects and tasks.

What it costs, in practice
An example for a team of 10 people, with prices published on 10/02/2026:
| Scenario | Tasskee | ClickUp |
| Entry plan | Start: 10 × R$ 19 = R$ 190 per month | Unlimited: 10 × US$ 7 = US$ 70 per month, annually |
| Mid-tier plan | Pro: 10 × R$ 39 = R$ 390 per month | Business: 10 × US$ 12 = US$ 120 per month, annually (US$ 190 monthly) |
| AI | Included in Pro, with your key (you pay only the usage to the provider) | Per-user add-on, billed separately |
| Tickets and WhatsApp | Tickets on Pro; WhatsApp as a per-channel add-on | Not offered natively |
To compare in reais, multiply the dollar amount by the day's exchange rate and add the IOF on the international purchase. And compare the plan you'll actually use, not the entry one: the schedule, reports and larger automations sit on the mid-tier plan in both tools.
What changes day to day
| Situation | In Tasskee |
| Starting a project | The template for your field already comes with statuses, workstreams and sample tasks |
| Knowing what to do today | The day planner gathers what's yours, from all projects |
| Receiving a client request | Public form or WhatsApp that become a ticket with a deadline |
| Showing progress to the client | Guest portal, which doesn't take up a seat |
| Automating the repetitive | "When → If → Then" rules in plain language, with simulation and a history that explains each run |
| Closing the month | Hours to bill and to pay, with each project's margin |
How to migrate from ClickUp
- Start with one project. Pick the one that causes the most trouble today and create the account with the template for your field.
- Bring over the tasks. Export the project from ClickUp, paste the list into a Tasskee document and ask the AI to turn it into tasks, with assignee and due date.
- Turn on the automations you already had. The most common ones (notify the requester on completion, chase a stalled task, create the recurring task) are among the ready-made templates.
- Invite the team and, if it makes sense, the client. Guests follow along through the portal without taking up a seat.
For many projects at once, the REST API and the MCP server let you automate the import. On the Max plan, onboarding is assisted by our team.
Summary
Tasskee was built for the team that wants everyone using it on day one, without assembling the tool piece by piece: pricing in reais, tickets and WhatsApp alongside projects, hours that turn into closing statements and AI without credits. All with support in Portuguese, from the people who build the product.
